Welcome to planDisney, Todd!
Hooray for your upcoming
Walt Disney World Resort vacation! It sounds like you are well on your way planning a practically perfect visit. Thank you for stopping by with your question.
As of early January,
theme park reservations are only required for those with non-dated tickets and Annual Passholders. If you have a non-dated ticket, such as:
- Student group tickets
- Sport and Convention tickets
- Florida Resident Disney Thrills Ticket
- Disney Military Salute Ticket
- Other non-dated ticket options
Then you will still need to have a theme park reservation, even to enter at a later time. Luckily, you are able to make and modify theme park reservations easily from the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. If you have a ticket with the
Park Hopper option, you are able to visit another park at any time of day, after you have visited your first park (with a theme park reservation.)
If you are an
Annual Passholder, you are able to visit the theme parks without a theme park reservation on "good-to-go" days, or after 2:00 PM (except on Saturdays and Sundays at
Magic Kingdom Park.)
Please be aware that theme park reservations are limited and availability can change quickly, so I suggest
checking for availability and
making your reservations as soon as possible.
I hope this information helps you in planning your upcoming visit, Todd. If there is anything else we are able to assist you with, please let us know.
Magical Wishes,
Lauren
