Do I need to have a park reservation to eat dinner? Ex. - I make a reservation for dinner at a restaurant in magic kingdom but I was in epcot all day with my park ticket

    Hi Chelsea!
    Welcome to planDisney.

I have some good news for you!  From 9th January 2024 park reservations will no longer be required.  Up to and including 8th January 2024 you would need a park reservation for your first park (EPCOT), and then with a park hopper ticket, you could visit any other park after 2.00 pm.

So, during your visit, you will not be required to make any park reservations.  You can visit EPCOT for the whole day, and go to any other park for your dinner reservation, as long you have a park hopper ticket.

Dining reservations open 60 days in advance, so now is the time to make those bookings!   I have two favourite restaurants at Magic Kingdom Park.   Dinner at Be Our Guest Restaurant is a lovely experience.  As soon as you step inside the castle, you will be entranced, and I would recommend that you take a look around all three dining rooms, regardless of where you are seated.  The attention to detail is stunning, and you may even get a glimpse of the Beast's enchanted rose in The West Wing!  If you fancy a delicious breakfast, lunch, or dinner with Winnie the Pooh and friends in another beautiful setting, I highly recommend The Crystal Palace.

Please come back and visit us if you have any further questions.  You can also send a question directly to me if you wish.  We will be happy to help you plan your magical vacation to Walt Disney World Resort and keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for all the latest official news about events that may be happening during your stay.
