Hi there, Barbara! Welcome to planDisney!
People often ask what is the best age to take your little Mouseketeer to the Walt Disney World Resort. The answer? Any age! But there are some extra benefits of taking a child under the age of 3 years old on a trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth!
First of all, free tickets! Well, at least for your little one!
Theme park tickets are free for children under 3-years old. And to answer your question, you do not need to make
theme park reservations for a child of this age either. Only Guests who require tickets will require theme park reservations. This should make the planning process a bit easier!
Barbara, I am no stranger to traveling with small children. One of the most magical parts of the Walt Disney World Resort is that is it inclusive to all Guests, especially our littlest travelers! You'll find many accommodations for smaller children, from kid-sized chairs in front of their favorite movies in
Disney Resort Hotel lobbies to no-height requirement rides and attractions that can entertain them for days! But best of all, each Walt Disney World theme park offers a
Baby Care Center. These are quiet, calmer areas where families with young children can go to escape the heat or overstimulation of the parks. Need a quiet place for a snack? Baby Care Center. Need a child-sized potty? Baby Care Center. Forget wipes or supplies? Baby Care Center! Some of my fellow panelists gave video tours of these little retreats. You can find them in the Highlights Section of the
planDisney Instagram Page.
I hope you have a magical vacation, Barbara!
Best wishes,
Ashley
