Do you need a park pad to park hop? If you want to enter a park at 2, do you need a park reservation for earlier that day?

    Hi Jim! Welcome to planDisney!

You must be thrilled to visit the Most Magical Place on Earth this week! I can only imagine how great it is to be a Florida resident and live so close to the magic. I love to see all of the special offers that Disney gives to Florida residents to show their appreciation for their neighbors.

To park hop around the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, you will just need a valid Walt Disney World theme park ticket with the Park Hopper Option added and a Disney Park Pass reservation for the first theme park you will visit that day. You must visit the theme park that you have a reservation for first before hopping to another theme park. Once park hopping hours begin (currently at 2:00 PM), you can enter your second theme park and you do not need a Disney Park Pass reservation for that theme park. If you are visiting multiple days, just make sure to have a Disney Park Pass reservation for the first theme park you will visit for each day that you are exploring the theme parks.

I hope this helps, Jim! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
