Do you need to park your car to use the Toy Story shuttle? Or can pedestrians be dropped off?

    Hi Leticia!

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you so much for sending this Disneyland Resort planning question to us hEAR.

You asked an interesting question, one that I could not find a definitive yes or no answer to. I'm a member of a few Disneyland Magic Key passholder groups and others have said that they've done this just fine, and recently, so I guess that there are no real issues with it. After all, you'll still be visiting Mickey's house, might as well arrive in style. I will say that there isn't an official drop-off area at or near the Toy Story Parking Lot for a car to pull into, so it might benefit your driver to let you out at a hotel or restaurant nearby so you and those in your party can walk to the proper spot inside the lot to catch the shuttle. As far as timing goes, this parking lot will open an hour earlier than the earliest park opening for the day. (So if Disneyland Park opens at 8:00 AM and Disney California Adventure Park opens at 9:00 AM, the parking lots will open at 7:00 AM that day.)

Leticia, have you hEARd that the parking structure trams that connect the Mickey and Friends and Pixar Pals Parking Structure to the east side of the Downtown Disney District are reopening on February 23? Keep this location in mind, too, as it could be another drop-off point for your party. And speaking of new services, have you checked out the brand new complimentary Disney Genie or the Disney Genie+ add-on?

I hope that this helped to better plan your upcoming Disney day, Leticia. Be sure to follow the official planDisney Instagram account where we're sharing all kinds of tips and tricks.
