Ahoy there, Nicole. Thanks for stopping by with your question. Disney Cruise vacations are perfect for the young and young at heart, and I know you and your daughter are going to have an awesome time!
I love that you are planning ahead and want to get everything in order before embarking on your cruise. Tip of my sailor's cap to you! I have good news - for children traveling with at least one parent, an
Authorization for Minor to Travel without a Parent or Legal Guardian form is not needed.
Nicole, a passport is also not currently required for U.S. citizens sailing on
Disney Cruise Line with itineraries leaving from and returning to the same U.S. port. Guests 15 years of age or younger need only their original state-issued birth certificate, no government-issued photo ID required. However, I always recommend checking the
Disney Cruise Line Travel Documentation page for the most current information.
Be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app before your trip, as it is your gateway to the entertainment schedule throughout your cruise. Will you choose to meet all the characters you can, watch a first-run movie, or take in a Broadway-style show? The possibilities are endless! Tip: Use the heart/favorite function in the app to get push notifications for your next event while on board.
I hope this information helps, Nicole. Please visit us again if you need any more help!
Happy sailing,
Melissa
