Hi there, Savannah! It’s my pleasure to welcome you to planDisney!
I’m happy to share that there’s no need to print physical copies of your tickets for the Disneyland Resort. In fact, the easiest and most convenient way to access them is right from the
Disneyland mobile app.
Once you’re signed in, tap the menu (☰) button at the bottom and select “My Tickets & Passes.” You’ll see your tickets displayed there, ready to scan when you arrive at the park entrance gates. Simply hold your phone under the reader when you reach the gate—then smile for the quick photo that links the ticket to you for the remainder of your visit.
That said, if you prefer having a paper copy as a backup, you’re absolutely welcome to print your tickets before you arrive. And I’ll let you in on a little planDisney pro tip: take a screenshot of your ticket barcode and set it as your phone’s wallpaper. That way, your ticket will always be right on your home screen, ready to scan in seconds—no app navigation needed! And if you’re using MagicBand+, entering the parks is even easier—you won’t even need to reach for your phone or printed ticket. Simply tap your band at the entry point, and you’ll be on your way to the magic in no time.
Savannah, the Disneyland app itself is a must-have during your visit. You can view real-time
attraction wait times, find your way around with interactive maps showing
dining options and
Disney Character appearances, and use the
mobile food and beverage ordering feature to save time in line at many
quick-service dining locations. If you’ve purchased
Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you can even make and modify Lightning Lane selections directly in the app for an effortless day of Disney fun.
So, Savannah, while there’s no need to carry printed tickets, you’ll definitely want to keep the Disneyland app close at hand. With just a few taps—or a single glance at your home screen—you’ll be ready to unlock all the magic waiting for you at The Happiest Place on Earth.
See ya real soon!
