Will we need to pack long pants and sweatshirts to visit the first week in May? Love the pannel.

    Hi Michele,

To be on the safe side, I would include a pair of long pants and a sweatshirt or light jacket.  The weather in central florida in May is generally gorgeous.  It's warm and sunny, but not usually oppressively hot, as it can get in the summer.  However, as you know, you can never predict with 100% certainty if an unusual cold front will pass by during your visit.  In general, early May boasts lows in the 60s and highs in the 80s.  While warmer clothes may very well not be necessary, I say, better to be prepared than to be cold.  If you go out in the early morning or evenings, you may find that you were glad you packed a jacket.

    Have a great trip!
