    Do I need my own My Disney Experience account for the Star Wars Galactic Star Cruiser to be able to participate if I am already on my husband's?

    Hi Mike!

    I'm so excited to see that you are getting ready for a voyage onboard Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser! You will have an incredible time on the Halcyon as you travel to Batuu. My family sailed with Chandrila Star Line several weeks ago and it was truly the trip of a lifetime!

    One of the best parts of your trip on Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser is that you will be a part of the story during your sailing. While you are exploring, you will use the Star Wars: Datapad in the Play Disney Parks mobile app to receive missions from crew members, scoundrels, and maybe even members of the Resistance or the First Order. In order for you to have your own unique identity during your trip and participate in your own missions, you will need to have a My Disney Experience account separate from your husband's account. My husband was always been under my account before our trip on the Halcyon and he was able to truly immerse himself in the experience by creating his own account for our sailing.

    Since your husband already has plans for you under his account, he can send you an invitation to My Disney Experience from his Friends & Family List, which will allow you to create your account that will automatically be linked to all of your entitlements and reservations that he has planned for you. If you already have an account, you can link your account to the reservations in your husband's account and my fellow panelist Bryanna has some awesome instructions to help you link your accounts.

    Mike, since the Star Wars: Datapad is such an integral part of your sailing, I recommend that you bring external battery chargers for your mobile phone with you so you have access to the Play Disney Parks mobile app during your entire vacation! We found that we used our smartphones quite a bit during our time on the Halcyon and our external batteries ensured we never missed a mission!
