Hi Kaley! Welcome to planDisney. You are only a few sleeps away from your visit to the Walt Disney World Resort! Are visions of Christmas Mickey dancing through your head?
You're going to have the BEST time at the
Disney Very Merriest After Hours event! There is so much festive fun packed into the party, and you'll get a chance to see my very favorite parade -
Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. Santa's Reindeer, who dance their way down Main Street, U.S.A. to announce the big man's arrival, are an absolute joy!
This event was very popular this year, and it has sold out. There are sometimes cancellations, so your best bet is to stop by a Ticket Window when you arrive at Walt Disney World to ask if there are any tickets available for your party date. If you'll be a
Guest at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you could ask a Cast Member at the front desk as well. There are no guarantees that there will be tickets available, but it's worth asking!
If you're not able to get one more ticket, don't worry! There are so many ways to celebrate the holidays around Walt Disney World. The
Disney Springs Christmas Tree Stroll is always wonderful, and be sure to stop by Amorette's Patisserie for a holiday-themed treat while you're there. The gingerbread displays at Disney's Beach Club Resort or Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa are also lovely, and you can purchase your own Disney gingerbread to enjoy. The
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays includes so many festive events, and the decorations at Disney's Hollywood Studios are retro and gorgeous. The
Disney Parks Blog has rounded up all their planning advice for the holidays in this article (which makes me want to hop in my sleigh and head south immediately).
Kaley, thank you for stopping by planDisney. I'm sending peppermint-scented pixie-dusted wishes that you're able to find that extra ticket! Enjoy every minute!
Wishing you a merry and magical vacation,
Robyn
