We need multiple dine reservations for 14 to get a sit down meal tgether. Can my spouse & I, same room reservation but diff Disney account make reservations for the whole party? Does a diff room reservation need to make the othr dining reservation?

    Welcome to planDisney, Erin!

Thanks so much for dropping by with your question.  Can you believe you're only 60 days away from arriving at Walt Disney World Resort?!  After all that planning (and waiting), you'll be wandering down Main Street, U.S.A. before you know it!  And since you've officially hit the 60-day mark, it's time for you to get started with one of my favorite parts of the whole Disney-planning process –– making your advance dining reservations

Here's the great news –– you and your husband will both be able to log into your individual My Disney Experience accounts and search for dining reservations beginning this morning at 6 AM EST. Since it sounds like you'll be staying at Disney Resorts Collection hotel during your visit, remember that you'll also be able to book reservations for your entire length of stay (up to 10 days) when that window opens. If you're both searching at the same time, I suggest having one person use the My Disney Experience mobile app to search, while one of you searches from a computer.  When my husband and I search together for dining reservations, we occasionally have good luck finding different options, like times or party size, when we use both search methods (honestly, I have no clue why –– technology is funny sometimes).

Since you'll be traveling with such a large party, you might also consider searching for two smaller tables at or around the same time.  Then, once you arrive at the restaurant, I recommend letting a Cast Member at the entrance know that you're dining as a group and request that your tables be seated near one another.  While this is never guaranteed, my family often travels as a group of 10-12 and we typically have great luck being seated together.  Just keep in mind that in order to find two tables together, it might mean waiting an extra few minutes for something to open up.

I'm so glad you dropped by planDisney, Erin.  If you think of new questions as your Walt Disney World Resort visit approaches, I hope you'll visit us again –– we're always happy to help!
