Now that I have done an official happy dance to celebrate your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, I will say that I had a similar phone disconnection when trying to call to speak with a Cast Member one day so I can empathize with your frustration. I am so sorry that this has happened. If there is no link to Make a Payment in your
My Disney Experience account, you will, unfortunately have to call back to
speak with a Cast Member by phone.
Most times, when I am unable to make a payment online, it happens when I have booked a room-only reservation. If you have booked a
vacation package with theme park tickets, you should be able to see the link to Make a Payment online in your My Disney Experience account. Just be sure to try using the web-based site as opposed to the mobile app for this payment.
As you try to modify that reservation, know that your new dates might not be available. So, choose wisely. If the dates are more important that the resort hotel and your original resort hotel is not available for the new nights, then consider switching resort hotels.
