Hiya, Olivia!
Walt Disney World is a walking challenge for anyone. We've got a few options, Olivia, so let's see how we can help.
If you only need your mobility scooter in the parks, there are
Electronic Conveyance Vehicles (ECV) available to rent at each of the theme parks, the
water parks, and
Disney Springs. At the theme parks, there are even complimentary wheelchairs available in the parking lot to use to get you into the theme park, where you can go to the rental counter.
Lyft has an Accessible Vehicle Dispatch Service, which works with paratransit taxis in the area to provide accessible transportation. You need to request the accessible vehicles at least 24 hours in advance, and you also may need to register with the service. Contact Lyft directly for more information on this service. Uber also has a service called WAV, and while they do not currently operate in the Orlando area, they are expected to expand their service. Your trip is coming up fairly quickly, but it can't hurt to keep an eye on your Uber app just in case.
Mears, a popular area transportation service, does have a limited number of accessible vehicles. I don't know if the wait time for them would be any less than the
Disney World transportation, as they do tend to take a while to get to you, but it's an option.
If you own a scooter and it can be broken down, you may be able to use any rideshare service. I'd just check with your driver to make sure they have trunk space to accommodate your scooter.
Good luck, Olivia!
