Hi there, Ardonna! I'm so glad you stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.
Walt Disney World Resort's Minnie Van service, connected by the ridesharing service Lyft, is a great way to get to your destination in a jiffy. When I rode in one last week, the Cast Member driver told me that this service celebrated a milestone recently by transporting its one-millionth guest! Obviously, this unique style of transportation has its fans! A great perk of riding in a Minnie Van is that the drivers can drop you off right in front of the theme parks; traditional ride-sharing services must drop guests destined for Magic Kingdom Park off at the Transportation and Ticketing Center, where they must then board the
monorail.
Something to keep in mind is that Minnie Vans operate from 6:30 AM to 12:30 AM daily. I know many guests have been setting their alarms well before sunrise to get in line for the most highly anticipated attraction in decades,
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. This ride is not currently eligible for
FastPass+, so the best strategy is to get to
Disney's Hollywood Studios at least an hour or two before Park opening (note that Disney's Hollywood Studios Park Hours were updated to a 7:00 AM opening time for this week and next). Since Minnie Vans won't be operating at 5:45 AM, I would recommend taking an Uber or Lyft to get you to the Park. You'll be dropped off in the parking lot, just steps from the Park's main entrance.
Ardonna, while you're waiting for your Boarding Group to be called on your
My Disney Experience app, head to
Ronto Roasters for a tasty Ronto Morning Wrap. You'll definitely want some fuel in your system before you come face to face with First Order Supreme Leader Kylo Ren...General Organa is relying on you! Ignite the Spark!
