Do you need the memory maker? Or can we have photos taken and then pick and choose what we want? Only in parks for two days. I feel 199 is a lot of money for two days.

    Hi Therese! Welcome to planDisney!

You will be enjoying all that the Walt Disney World Resort 50th anniversary celebration has to offer in just THREE more days! Yay! I know just how exciting the final few days of a vacation countdown can be. Before you know it, all your planning will pay off when you begin exploring the theme parks. I know you will make lots of special memories!

Speaking of memories, you do not have to purchase Memory Maker to enjoy your photos. You can absolutely purchase photos separately after your pictures have been taken. You can also consider purchasing Memory Maker One Day that allows you to download all of the photos from one entire day and is a much better value for Guests that are visiting only one or two days. You can read all about it on the Disney Parks Blog article that I just linked for you.

When you are enjoying the theme parks, make sure to ask the PhotoPass photographers if they have any "Magic Shots" available. They often have some fun additions to add to your photos, but with the 50th anniversary celebration currently underway, they have some extra special touches available!

I hope this helps, Therese! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
