Hi Charles, welcome to planDisney!
Since Walt Disney World Resort's reopening, the
health and safety protocols in place to preserve the magic for Guests have changed as necessary to reflect the most current trends and guidance. Amidst changing protocols, the presence of Disney magic in the parks remains constant and stronger than ever during
The World's Most Magical Celebration.
As of February 17, face coverings are optional for fully vaccinated Guests in both indoor and outdoor locations. Masks are still required for Guests ages two and up on enclosed
Disney transportation such as the monorail that transports Guests from the Transportation and Ticket Center to Magic Kingdom park. Enclosed transportation also includes Disney buses and Disney Skyliner. Guests who are not fully vaccinated are expected to continue wearing face coverings in all indoor locations. Face coverings must cover the nose and mouth and be secured with ties or ear loops. Gaitors, bandanas, and masks with valves, mesh, or holes are not permitted.
I recommend taking Scar's advice and packing a mask or two in your park bag so you can
be prepared. Adjustments to the current safety measures can change at a moment's notice, so I also encourage you to check out the latest Walt Disney World Resort masking requirements
online before your visit.
Please stop by planDisney again soon as you
prepare for the chance of a lifetime.Choose magic,
Jennifer
