Do I need a MagicBand? I have just a one day pass to Hollywood Studios.

Welcome back to planDisney, Angela. Thank you for trusting us to help plan your upcoming trip!

Disney's Hollywood Studios is a fantastic park. Then again, aren't they all? My version of a perfect day there definitely includes at least one spin on Slinky Dog Dash and Toy Story Mania. Oh, and definitely a tasty lunch at The Hollywood Brown Derby. I'm a sucker for their amazing Cobb Salad. Of course, I could not imagine missing Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway; that attraction is just adorable!

If you don't already have a MagicBand, Angela, there's no requirement to purchase one. MagicBands make multi-day trips more convenient, especially if you're staying in a Disney resort hotel, but they' aren't necessary. I would, however, recommend that you download the My Disney Experience mobile app and create a profile, if you haven't already. Doing so will allow you to link up the one-day ticket you have and make a theme park reservation (which you'll need to gain entry to the park). It's also a great idea to read up on the pandemic-related updates that might make your Disney experience just a little different than it may have been during past visits. It's always a good thing to be prepared, right? If you don't believe me, just ask Simba's uncle, Scar.

I sure hope you enjoy an unforgettable day, overflowing with all things glitzy and glamorous. And hey, don't be a stranger around here! Come on back if we can be of further assistance.
