    A warm welcome to planDisney. Thank you for visiting us with your wondEARful question about MagicBands.

    Gloria, you do not need to use or purchase MagicBands while visiting Walt Disney World Resort.

    To enter the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks, you can use a complimentary admission card or Disney MagicMobile service. You can also complete purchases throughout Walt Disney World Resort without a MagicBand. 

    Additionally, if you stay in a Disney Resorts Collection hotel, you can use the My Disney Experience mobile app to unlock your room door! Isn't that magical, Gloria?
