Hey howdy hey, James!
Welcome to planDisney and thanks for galloping over with a great
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question.
Yee-haw! It looks like you're currently on-site at The Most Magical Place on Earth enjoying a relaxing stay at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. I've always wanted to stay at that rustic retreat, especially after my family enjoyed the
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue a couple of months ago! I hope your trip is off to a rootin' tootin' start.
James, since I haven't yet had the opportunity to stay at this property, I reached out to a helpful Cast Member to confirm access options for the Comfort Stations at
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. I was informed that Guests can utilize a MagicBand,
MagicBand+, or Key to the World card to access the Comfort Stations after hours. At the time of writing, access is limited between 12:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., so be sure to bring one of these items with you to access the showers and bathhouses between those times. If you don't have one of these, you can always stop by the Reception Outpost to request a Key to the World card to use during your stay!
During your time at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, be sure to pop over to
Tri-Circle-D Ranch to say "hay" to the Happiest Horses on Earth! This stunning and pristine working barn is home to the Walt Disney World Resort's equine "fleet" which powers the vehicles on Main Street, U.S.A. and even the ponies who pull Cinderella's Royal Coach. At the time of writing, the stables are open to the public between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. each day.
James, I hope you've found this information useful as you continue to enjoy your stay at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. If you have any additional questions throughout your visit, you can always mosey back over to
planDisney! We're here to help you make the most of your time at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
So long partner,
Lauren
