Hi there Megan, and a very warm Canadian welcome to planDisney!
As an East Coaster, I bet you might know a thing or two about making waves on watery adventures and there's always something a little funny about us Canucks heading south to Florida to enjoy a sunny day at
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park covered in icicles and "snow".
You might be happy to know that Magic Bands are not required to experience any of the attractions, whether you're racing down headfirst on
Toboggan Racers or tackling
the tallest and fastest freefall body slide. It is however, still useful not only for admission into the Water Park but also as a means of paying for food and merchandise or receiving complimentary towels for the day as long as it is linked to a valid stay at a
Disney Resort hotel.
I've found it super handy to wear my Magic Band as opposed to heading back and forth to grab my wallet and stash it again any time I wanted to make a purchase. There's really nothing like relaxing as you float on
Cross Country Creek, letting the lazy river live up to its name and drifting towards your next snack that you can get with the tap of your waterproof Magic Band - I can almost taste that
Birthday Cake-flavoured ice cream now!
Come back to planDisney any time to
ask me any more tips and tricks that I might have for your future aquatic adventures. May the skies always be sunny and the slides super slippery on your upcoming trip!
Prince
