Ahoy, JF! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for your interest in sailing with Disney Cruise Line.
The planDisney panel is made up of real live guests just like you who love going on their own Disney adventures and who answer questions submitted by other guests to help give them tips and recommendations for their own upcoming vacations. Unfortunately, since we are not travel agents, none of us at planDisney can speak with you directly or assist you in making a reservation with Disney Cruise Line. However, I can provide you with a few tips to help you get started planning a magical sailing for your entire family.
All of the available sailings can be found on the Disney Cruise Line website and the “Plan a Cruise” feature allows you to narrow down the choices based on your personal preferences, including by departure port. Since you are specifically interested in booking a sailing out of Galveston, Texas, then I recommend following these steps to see the available itineraries from there:
- Start by clicking on the “Plan a Cruise” tab at the top of the main website.
- Then click on the third white box in the middle of the screen labeled “Departing from” and choose Galveston, Texas as your departure port.
- If you click on the “More Filters” button on the right, then you can also indicate whether you want a particular themed cruise, a certain number of nights, or would like to sail on a specific ship.
- Once you have all of your preferred filters in place, click on the blue “View Dates” button to see the available itineraries.
- After you click on your desired itinerary, you will be able to pick a particular sailing date and can then see your stateroom booking options.
Currently, all of the sailings through Summer 2027 have been released and are available for booking. However, you will only find sailings from Galveston during certain months of the year because it only operates seasonally as a departure port for the Disney fleet. Right now, Disney Cruise Line has cruises departing from Galveston scheduled from November 2026 to April 2027, but no sailings scheduled for the summer months.
Remember that if you need assistance making your reservation, you can call Disney Cruise Line directly at (800) 951-3532 and speak with a live person. Cast members are available to speak with you Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM EST, and Saturday and Sunday, 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM EST.
