Do I need to link my tickets to my magic bands or is this automatically done?

    Hi Nancy! Welcome to planDisney!

Can you believe it! Only two short days away from arriving at the Most Magical Place on Earth. I'm sure the excitement level is at an all-time high! I know when my family is only days away, we start listing our must-dos for each park day. Whether that be a snack that one person wants to try or a shop in the World Showcase that one of us wants to stop in, this method helps us make sure every person in our family gets to do their number one thing each day.

I understand wanting to make sure that entry into the parks goes as smoothly as possible. There is nothing worse than getting to the front of the line and having the Mickey tap-in stand turn blue instead of green. Your tickets will be automatically linked to your MagicBands if you have previously linked your tickets and MagicBands to your My Disney Experience account. To check on this, log on to your account and scroll down to "Plans, Reservations, and Tickets" Click on "Tickets & Memory Maker" to view your tickets below. If they are not shown and you have not already linked them, scroll back up to "Park Tickets". Click on "Link Tickets" and enter the Ticket ID Code that is below the barcode on your tickets or in your email confirmation.

To confirm that your MagicBands are linked to your account, select "My MagicBands and Cards" from the drop-down menu on the website. Scroll down to view the MagicBands that are associated with each Guest in your party. You can confirm which MagicBands are the correct ones by matching the ID Code on the back of the band to what is listed for each Guest. If you have a band that is not listed on your account, scroll to the bottom of the page and select "Link". Enter the ID Code to link the MagicBand successfully.

Remember, theme park reservations are required along with your park tickets to enter any of the four theme parks each day. If you haven't done so already, log on to your My Disney Experience account and select "Park Reservations" followed by "Make a Park Reservation" to secure your spot. Park availability is constantly changing, so make sure to have this completed as soon as possible.

Nancy, I hope you have an amazing time during your stay!

    See ya real soon!
