Hi Carmen! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Walt Disney World has a way of making us all want to be princesses no matter what our age, doesn't it? For those ladies who would love to indulge their inner-princess, unfortunately, the options are a bit limited. The official policy from Walt Disney World is that adults may not wear costumes that mimic or are representative of an actual Disney character - that is why they do not sell any adult princess costumes at the theme parks. The only exception to this rule is at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party where princesses of all ages are welcome. Don't let this stop you from expressing yourself, princess-wise! At Arribas Brothers at Downtown Disney, there is a wonderful selection of reasonably priced, princess tiaras for adults, from simple to completely blinged out! It is not unusual to see ladies proudly wearing their tiaras, and I even know some ladies who own several! How about wearing a t-shirt with your favourite princess along with that tiara? The World of Disney store, right near Arribas Brothers, has a wonderful selection of princess themed clothing for adults - hopefully you can find your favourite princess featured there.
Although it's not princess,
The Pirates League in the Magic Kingdom does offer an Empress-Pirate makeover that is available to wannabe pirates of all ages. I am told they do sell adult-sized pirate costumes there as well. If that sounds interesting to you, just check the link I've provided for more information and how to make reservations.
I hope this will help you to find something that lets you feel as royal as a princess during your Walt Disney World vacation. If you have any more questions, just ask! Have a very magical, pixie-dusted vacation Carmen!
