Hey there, hi there, ho there Alissa! Thanks for stopping by planDisney, where you're always welcome as can be. It looks like your adventure is almost here, so let's get going!
One thing that helps me to relax on vacation is knowing that most of the costs have already been paid. If you've booked a
Disney Vacation Package,
your final payment must be taken care of 30 days before check-in, either
online or by calling (407) 939-7675.
Room-only reservations can be paid off when you arrive at your
Disney Resort hotel, but if you're like me and prefer to take care of this before your trip begins, call (407) 939-1936 and a friendly Cast Member will assist you.
Another great way to pay upfront for expenditures is to purchase
Disney Gift Cards (available online and at many supermarkets and drugstores) to cover the cost of meals, snacks, and souvenirs. In Walt Disney World, you can pay for almost everything with these, or you can charge purchases to your resort room using a
MagicBand or Key to the World Card, and then visit the front desk to pay down your balance periodically with gift cards.
You can even use a Disney Gift Card to pay during
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering. I like to input the gift card number into the "Notes" application of my smartphone so it's easy to copy and paste it into the
My Disney Experience app during checkout.
I hope this is helpful as you begin to count down the final days until your vacation. To stay busy while you wait, follow the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest news, and check out our
Panel Extras for advice on everything from what to pack to what to order at some of our favorite restaurants. Thanks again for sending your question our way, and we'll see ya real soon!
