Hey there Jade, and welcome to planDisney!
They say that one of the saddest days in any seafarer's life is Debarkation Day, when you bid farewell to the vessel that served as your floating home for even a brief period of time. For many guests, this can sometimes be a frantic morning of hurrying up and waiting as you make your way off the ship to collect your luggage, clear Customs and head off on your onward journeys.
I wish we had a bit more information about what time your flight departs,
what ship you'll be sailing on as well as
which Port you'll be arriving at in order to provide you with a more specific answer, but from what I could infer based on the arrival date you've indicated as April 21, 2024, you might be on the
7-Night Mexican Riviera Cruise from San Diego voyage on the
Disney Wonder. (Please feel free to come back to planDisney again with another question and more details just in case!)
Luckily in
San Diego the San Diego International Airport is exceptionally close to the
Port of San Diego itself and in the past, it has taken me less than 10 minutes to get there after making my way off the ship. There is always a risk in any
Departure Port that clearance may not be given for neither passengers nor crew to debark; though these instances may be rare, I always recommend giving yourself a generous amount of time before flying after a cruise just to avoid any stress in case delays do occur. It's always a good idea to check with the
Crew Members at the Guest Services Desk to see whether they can advise you about your options to provide you with better chances to make your flight, such as Express Walk-Off to order to be among the first to depart.
I hope this helps Jade, we're always here for any other hints, tips or advice before your upcoming ocean adventures!
Wishing you safe travels on the seas and in the skies!
