Hi T,
We are delighted to see you stopping by planDisney with a great question!
Planning a trip for a larger group can be exciting and a little daunting. I would first advise that you check the
Special Offers. Keep an eye on those Special Offers because they can change throughout the year. If you have not done so already, make a list of the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels you would prefer. Decide which room arrangement you would like - a 3-Bedroom Villa or some other combination of rooms? Also consider the proximity to the parks and resort hotel amenities that you would enjoy.
My family prefers to stay at resort hotels with multiple transportation options and that are within walking distance to a theme park. A few of our favorite resort hotels are
Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney's BoardWalk Inn, and Disney's Beach Club Resort. Disney's Contemporary Resort and
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa are within walking distance of Magic Kingdom. Disney's BoardWalk Inn and Disney's Beach Club Resort are within walking distance of EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Disney's Beach Club Resort also has Stormalong Bay, an absolutely fabulous pool area that my girls adore. We have also enjoyed stays at
Disney's Pop Century Resort which, in addition to complimentary
Walt Disney World® Bus Transportation has access to the
Disney Skyliner.
As you consider the best deal, I would advise you to book a
vacation package that includes theme park tickets and a
Disney Dining Plan. My family actually prefers the Disney Dining Plan because it offers one quick-service and one table-service meal per night of stay. We love to use those table-service meals for
character dining experiences. To see how to use a dining plan at each restaurant, just go to the restaurant's site and click on View Dining Plans and Discounts.
As you consider your room options, I also suggest that you consider booking a few standard rooms if a 3-Bedroom Villa is not an option. Just know that while you can request connecting rooms, they are not guaranteed. Price out a few different options. I like to do my own searching on the
Walt Disney World website but you could also
call to speak with a cast member who could search availability for the dates of your visit.
Happy Planning!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
