I need to know ASAP how to link AAA purchased park tickets to my Disney App so I can make park reservations before they are gone. I am on the phone and have been on hold for 45 minutes already.

    Welcome to planDisney, Dorene!

I’m glad to hear you were able to purchase Walt Disney World theme park tickets through AAA, and I hope you got a great deal. I love to save those extra pennies so I can turn around and spend them on souvenirs and DOLE Whips once I arrive inside the magic. Priorities, am I right?

I’m sorry to hear you experienced long wait times on the phone. Things are working differently these days as part of the phased reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort, and many Guests are calling for assistance. While I love listening to the Disney hold music (I have been caught singing along when the Cast Member picks up), I know it’s frustrating to wait. I’m not sure if your problem was resolved, so let’s walk through linking your AAA theme park tickets to your My Disney Experience account.

Log in to My Disney Experience and select “Tickets and Passes.” From there, select the “+” or “add” and then “Link Tickets & Passes.” Once on that screen, you may enter the ticket ID number; if you can’t find the ID number, select “Where is the ID number?” to see a list of sample tickets with the ID number location highlighted. You should be able to find the ticket type you have on this list for reference.

The ticket number usually appears on the back of your plastic ticket card. There may be a silver scratch-off area that conceals several digits of the number for security reasons; gently scratch that off to reveal your full ticket number. Once you’ve done that, try entering that full number into My Disney Experience. Once successful, you’ll select the Guest to whom you’d like to link the ticket. Follow those steps until each ticket is linked to each Guest in your party. If you still have trouble linking your tickets, please call a friendly Cast Member at (407) 939-4357.

Once the tickets are linked, it’s time to make Disney Park Pass reservations. There’s a great video on the website that walks through that easy process. I’m sending pixie-dusted wishes that the rest of the process goes smoothly and you get all your plans in place so you can focus on the fun!
