    If you need your "key to the world card" to get off and on the ship, where do you keep it if you are going snorkeling on castaway cay? Also, is it safe to leave our slippers on the beach while snorkeling?

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you're planning an unforgettable voyage to my favorite destination: Disney's private island, Castaway Cay! I get the biggest smile on my face just thinking about the ship docking at the island early in the morning and having an entire day of fun in paradise! I'm so excited for you!

    I'm so thrilled to hEAR that you're thinking about snorkeling while visiting Castaway Cay. My family and I love exploring all of the wonders under the sea in the Snorkeling Lagoon off Castaway Family Beach. You've asked a great question. My family typically chooses a lounge chair close to the water to store our towels and beach bag (with our "Key to the World" cards in it) so we can easily keep an eye on our belongings. We have never had a concern about the safety of the items in our beach bag while playing in the water! With that being said, it's always a good idea to keep your valuable personal belongings, such as any jewelry or passports, locked in your stateroom safe while spending the day on the island.
