Hello and welcome to planDisney, Holly. We're so glad you're here to ask us this question. As Walt said in his speech on opening day, “To all who come to this happy place: Welcome.” One of the things my husband and I absolutely love about visiting the Disneyland Resort is how inclusive and accessible his visits are.
Disability Access Service (DAS) is a program offered at the resort to Guests who may have difficulty tolerating extended wait times in a traditional queue due to a disability. You can pre-register for
DAS Advance up to 30 days before and no less than 2 days before your arrival. It looks like you are right within this window and can pre-register right away.
To do this, you will
request a live chat with a Cast Member who will walk you through the process. Before you request the live chat, you will want to be sure of a few things. Ensure that every member of your party has a valid theme park ticket and theme park reservation for your visit and be sure to link all tickets for everyone in your party. Log into your Disney account before your chat.
Live chat is available from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Pacific Time and the Guest requesting DAS must be present during registration. The Cast Member will help you plan your day as well as pre-select up to two experiences per day of your visit (subject to availability). There are
certain experiences that are eligible for DAS Advance Planning and these two selections are in addition to return times you can request throughout the day.
For added convenience, you can also make return time selections right in the
Disneyland app. So be sure to download the app (if you haven't already) before your visit. Although any member of your DAS party can obtain a return time, the Guest using DAS must be present to redeem the DAS return time. You can also visit Guest Relations to receive return times.
Finally, if you aren't able to find time to pre-register for DAS before your visit, you can always register in person at City Hall in Disneyland Park or at the Chamber of Commerce in Disney California Adventure Park.
Holly, I hope this helps give you the next step for getting registered with DAS for your visit. I know there's a lot of information here and it may seem overwhelming, but the Cast Members are most helpful and will make sure you are all set for your visit. If you have any other questions that we can help with, please come back to ask us. Here's wishing you a spooktacular visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!
