I need information about the 1 bedroom suites at the Contemporary Resort Garden Wing. We have 3 suites booked for early December. Where are these type rooms located in the Garden Wing buildings? Are they one on top of each other on all 3 floors?

Hi Lisa! Welcome to planDisney, and hello to a fellow Virginian. It's always a pleasure to assist a neighbor with their Walt Disney World Resort vacation questions.

My family stayed in the Garden Wing at Disney's Contemporary Resort a few years ago, and we really enjoyed our stay. It was so nice to walk to and from Magic Kingdom Park, and Contempo Cafe in the main building is one of our favorite Quick-Service dining locations - don't miss their flatbread pizzas and delicious (and pretty) cupcakes.

Thank you for this question. I consulted my resources and was stumped, so I reached out to a Cast Member, who confirmed that the 1-Bedroom Suites in the Garden Wing are located on the bottom end of the building, in the section closest to the main A-frame building of Disney's Contemporary Resort. The suites are on separate floors, stacked on top of each other (the building is 3 stories high). You can take a look at the map of Disney's Contemporary Resort here.

Lisa, if you have concerns about this location, I encourage you to reach out to a Cast Member in the Disney Reservations Center by calling (407) 939-1936. These Cast Members may have more information about the location or be able to answer additional questions. Having stayed in Garden Wing, I can tell you that it shouldn't be too much of a hassle to visit between your suites; there is a centrally-located elevator as well as stairwells throughout.

Enjoy your stay! The holiday season will be in full swing during your December visit, and I'm wishing you a merry and magical time. As you count down to your vacation, please come back and see us if you think of any additional questions, and be sure to read the Disney Parks Blog for news and announcements about new experiences. Have the best time!

    Wishing you much magic,
    Robyn
