Do i need to inform my Disney resort Hotel , if i am planning to stay offsite for 1-2 nights during my stay.Obviously i have booked and paid for the duration of my stay at CBR , but plan to stay offsite during that time.Is there a protocol to follow?

    Hi Edgar,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. Your Incredible Summer at Walt Disney World Resort will be here before you know it!

I checked in with a Walt Disney World Cast Member, who told me that there is no protocol to follow if you aren’t planning to return to your room for a night or two of your stay. Please keep in mind that you will still be charged for the nights you are not using your room; I don’t know enough about your reservation and plans to know whether it would make sense to re-book your package (or even if that is possible based on your check-in date), but you could contact Walt Disney World Reservations at (407) 939-1936  to ask those questions if you’d like.

Edgar, I would advise letting the front desk Cast Members at your resort know your plans, just in case policies change between now and your check-in date. We don’t want the resort’s staff thinking you magically turned into a frog like Tiana and Naveen!

Enjoy your stay at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort! I’m hearing fabulous things about the new Spyglass Grill, and beating the Florida heat with a frozen drink from the Banana Cabana Pool Bar at the Fuentes del Morro pool sounds absolutely wonderful.

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
