Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Don. I'm so glad you stopped by! With just days until your arrival at the Walt Disney World Resort, let's get you all set for a magical stay.
Disability Access Service is one of the many
services available for Guests with disabilities. Designed for Guests who have difficulty with extended wait times in conventional queue environments due to a disability, it's sure to make your theme park adventures more accessible and enjoyable. The program was recently updated to include the convenient option for pre-registration! During the pre-registration process, you'll have the opportunity to chat about your unique needs with a friendly Cast Member via live video chat. If you qualify for the service, you'll even have the chance to pre-select up to 2 experiences per day of your visit!
Guests who wish to take advantage of DAS pre-registration and the advance planning option must request the live video chat at least 2 days prior to arrival. To get started, visit the
Planning with Disability Access Service page on the Walt Disney World Resort website. Scroll down the page and click on the "Request Live Chat" button. It's important to note that wait times have been a bit long lately. To minimize your wait time, I recommend requesting a live video chat first thing in the morning, beginning as early as 7:00 AM.
If you have any other questions about the many services available for Guests with disabilities, I encourage you to reach out to Disability Services. This incredible team is super helpful! You can reach Disability Services by calling (407) 560-2547 or emailing disability.services@disneyparks.com.
Your visit is the perfect time to experience all the
holiday happenings in
and out of the theme parks! If you have plans to explore the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, be sure to catch a performance of
Candlelight Processional. It's my favorite seasonal offering in all of Walt Disney World Resort!
I hope this was helpful, Don. I'm wishing you a magical (and merry) Disney vacation next week!
