Welcome to planDisney, Amanda. Thank you for taking the time to visit us. I’m excited to hear you’re looking for more information on booking a reservation at the Disneyland Resort.
I’m sure you’re aware, due to the pandemic, Disneyland Resort theme parks and hotels are
still closed at this time, pending local and state government approval for phased reopening. Like many folks, my family and I miss visiting
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park and we’re eagerly waiting for announcements on reopening. While the theme parks and hotels remain closed, Guests are unable to book a reservation. However, the planning portion of a vacation is half the FUN! While you await the reopening date to be announced, you can start your planning by comparing the different hotel options; there are
3 onsite Resort Hotels as well as numerous
Good Neighbor Hotels to choose from. There is something for every family’s vacation preference and budget. Our family’s favorite place to stay is the
Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa due to its Craftsman charm and the close proximity to the theme parks. It even has a dedicated entrance to Disney California Adventure Park!
At this time, we are unable to browse ticket options and prices since the theme parks remain closed. While we do not know whether Disneyland Resort will automatically roll out Park Hoppers when it reopens (along with one-day park tickets), I highly recommend that option if it’s available. When compared to the expansive Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Resort is MUCH smaller and park hopping between the two parks is super convenient – just across the Esplanade.
For all the latest official Disney news, be sure to check out the
Disneyland website and
Disney Parks Blog! I truly hope as the number of new Covid cases continues to decrease here in California, our beloved Disneyland Resort can safely reopen soon for everyone to enjoy! As you continue to plan your upcoming trip to the Happiest Place on Earth, please swing by planDisney for more advice and tips! We’re all EARS to assist.
See ya real soon,
Kiki
