Hi there, Nicole, and welcome back to planDisney!
In my opinion, park hopping is one of the best ways to experience The Most Magical Place on Earth! I always opt to purchase theme park tickets with the
Park Hopper option because of the freedom it provides to adapt each day to the current wait times or dining/Lightning Lane availability observed in the My Disney Experience app.
Currently, Nicole, date-based tickets (with or without the Park Hopper option) do not require a theme park reservation. Because you indicated that your theme park tickets have a valid use window, it is likely that they do not require a theme park reservation, but to be sure, I suggest reviewing the ticket types that do (
listed here) before your visit.
If your ticket is indeed date-based, then you are free to visit any theme park you desire (pending capacity) each day. Since you have a ticket with the Park Hopper option, you'll also be free to move freely between Walt Disney World Resort theme parks each day. I highly encourage you to utilize
Walt Disney World's complimentary transportation as you do! While I'm partial to traveling between Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT aboard the monorail, there are also buses, watercrafts, and aerial gondolas connecting Walt Disney World's theme parks.
If you have any questions about navigating Walt Disney World Resort, feel free to
stop back by planDisney, or you can check out
planDisney's transportation feature on the Disney Parks Blog.
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
