Do I need to include my 2 year old in the count when making character dining reservations and other dining reservations?

    Hi Carly!

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for dropping by with your delicious question!

I was so pleased when the Disney Parks Blog announced that many of my favorite dining experiences would be returning to the Disneyland Resort. Among them is the much-anticipated return of character dining. Reservations are currently available for “Minnie & Friends - Breakfast in the Park.” This dining experience is located in one of the original landmarks of Disneyland Park, Plaza Inn. If you prefer to dine outside the parks, head to Disney’s Grand California Hotel & Spa for character dining at Napa Rose and Storytellers Cafe.

One of my top tips for dining reservations is to make a reservation for the maximum number of people that may be in your dining party. It's much easier to reduce the size of your dining party and a lot harder to increase the size. And, you can easily decrease the size of your dining party without losing your reservation. So, while your little one will not be charged to dine, you should still include them in your reservation. This allows the Cast Members to seat you at the proper table for your party size.

I hope you enjoy all the tasty food fun character interactions the Disneyland Resort has to offer. If you think of another question, please bring it our way!
