Do I need to include my 2 year old child in the character meal reservation?

    Hi, Kali!

Although your daughter will not be charged at a buffet dining location, (kids under the age of 3 can share their from a parent's plate for no charge) you should include her in your count when making a dining reservation at any Disneyland Resort restaurant. You want to make sure you have plenty of room at your table for all of your guests. When ordering, tell your server your kids' ages so you will be charged the proper prices for each guest dining with you.

You are going to love dining with the characters during your visit. It is so nice to have a fun meal and have the characters come right to your table for a picture, autograph, and even a hug or just a "high five!" Make sure to have an autograph book handy and plan to take lots of wonderful photos.

Dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance. You can do this online or by calling (714)781-DINE. A credit card is required to hold your dining reservation. When dining at table service locations with a traditional menu, your 2 year old can share with you or you can order a kids meal at menu price.

Have a great time and say "HI" to Mickey Mouse for me during your visit!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
