Do we need to include a 9 month old infant in our guest count when making dining reservations?

    Hi Jacqueline,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question! One of my favourite visits to Walt Disney World Resort at all time was undoubtedly when I brought my “itty bitty squishy” son when he was almost 6 months old. You’re in for a wonderful visit with your little one!

Even though your little one won’t likely order his or her own meal, you still need to include them in the guest count when you’re making a reservation at a Disney dining location. After all, their high chair is going to take up some space at the table, and they’re “people” too! Just don’t forget that, if you make any reservations at a buffet or family style dining location, your little one will be Mickey’s special guest and you won’t be charged for them.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. And don’t forget to visit the Baby Care Centers during your visit - they really are wonderful!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
