Do I need to include my 13-mo old son in the # when making reservation for character dining? Seems like its easier to find a table for 4 people vs. 5 people, so if I can make it for 4 it would give me more options. Thanks!

    Hi Kirstenh,

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  I am happy to hear you have begun thinking of your dining reservations for your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort Vacation.  I absolutely love character dining, and my daughter still loves meeting the characters during our meals.  When you are making your dining reservations you do need to include your 13 month old son on the reservation.  The location needs to know the total number of guests in your party to ensure there is enough space in the restaurant and they do not exceed capacity.

I would recommend to keep looking frequently if you have not yet secured all of your dining reservations, cancelations do happen as time goes on, and you may be lucky enough to get a reservation!

I hope you have a wonderful time at Walt Disney World Resort.  Please let me know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan.  I would love to hear from you again.
