Do we need to include children when making reservation online? I have a 5 yr and 1 yr and didn’t include them. I try To go back to add and it says there’s nothing available. Not sure if i should just cancel.

Hey there, hi there, Samantha! Thank you so much for sending your reservation question to planDisney.

You are set to arrive very soon and I am so excited for your family! I believe you are talking about dining reservations and if so, yes, you need to include the children if they need a seat, high chair, or spot at the table. Usually, when you go to check in for your reservation through the Disneyland app, you will able to adjust the reservation number by one, either up or down. However, since you have two Guests you did not include this won't help your situation. Instead of canceling your reservations, I have a suggestion. Currently, for standard dining reservations that aren't dining packages or specialty dining options, you can cancel up to 2 hours before your reservation time to avoid the no-show fee. I suggest going up to the Cast Members at these locations at the beginning of the day or establishment opening and see if they can adjust your reservations. If not, then you can cancel.

Should you have to cancel your reservations, you may have luck finding new ones that day. Guests are constantly changing their plans even on the day of their visit. Another option is to check out the mobile dine walk-up list for participating locations throughout the parks in the Disneyland app.

Samantha, I am hopeful that you will be able to make your reservations and plans work for a fabulous visit to The Happiest Place on Earth. See you real soon!
