Need imput! We will be traveling this September and was planning to go to MNSSHP but have been looking at the pirate boat ride. We can't afford to do both, which one would you do? We will be bringing our 3 boys, 5, 3 and 1.

    Hi Shawn!
Your boys are lucky having a choice like this. That said, I think MNSSHP is the clear winner for several reasons. First, the party lasts longer, so there is perceived value there. Second, Mickey's Boo to You parade is one of the better parades in all of Walt Disney World, at any time of year. Third, the fireworks display is awesome. Fourth...CANDY!! There are at least 8 different "trick or treat" locations throughout the park on party nights. The kids will definitely leave with their bags full. Finally, there are several character meet and greets that are rare occasions...for example ALL 7 Dwarfs together, that make for a mighty fine picture.
Don't get me wrong, the Pirates & Pals Cruise is a blast, but for the money, I would choose MNSSHP almost every time.
I hope this helps a bit, and whichever activity you choose, I wish you all a Magical trip!! :)
