Howdy Julie!
I am excited for you. I know the trip won't be the same and there will be times when you miss your kids but I assure you that you are going to have a wonderful time.
I'm so glad you have made your dining reservations and plans. That was going to be my first suggestion.
My next suggestion would be to visit the
Walt Disney World site. Click on Things To Do, Activities, Attractions and then select Adult under Age Interest. You will find a very long list of attractions to visit in the Theme Parks.
How much time have you spent on the BoardWalk? It's lovely! There is fantastic dining, some unique shops and some great entertainment including street performers in the evenings. If you are sports fans, the ESPN Club is a great place to enjoy a meal and see virtually any sporting event being televised. There are over 100 televisions throughout the restaurant.
Downtown Disney is another great place to visit. I'm sure you have been there but it will be a new experience with a party of adults. Enjoy dining, shopping and people watching.
You might also consider a spa treatment. There are several amazing spas at Walt Disney World and what a treat that would be for you!
I think the most important suggestion I can make it to just go and have a great time. Walt Disney World is awe-inspiring for kids of all ages. Whether a Guest is 4 or 42, there is something magical about Walt Disney World. You will catch yourself acting as silly as a 2nd grader because you see Mickey Mouse. Get yourself some cotton candy and be a kid again. Enjoy every minute with your parents as you celebrate each other and enjoy making treasured memories together.
It's going to be phenomenal!! You will be at the most magical place on earth in a few short days. Grab your Mickey Ears and have a magical time!!!
