Need some ideas please. Planning a day in Epcot and have lunch reservations at San Angel Inn. The plan was to have a light breakfast at Boardwalk bakery but I was reading it will be closed for Reno in Jan. Any thoughts for light breakfast? Thanks!!

    Hi, Adrian!

If you're heading into Epcot from Disney's BoardWalk area and are looking for a light breakfast, you have several tasty options. Head over to one of my very favorite Disney-fan sites, AllEars.net for unofficial menu details. (Hover over "Walt Disney World" tab, select "Dining" then "Resort Hotels." Then, scroll until you find the name of the Quick-Service restaurants listed below for more information.)

First, check out the menu for Beach Club Marketplace, at Disney's Beach Club Resort. Located just a few minutes' walk from the International Gateway entrance to Epcot, this resort shop has a nice little QS counter where you can pick up a breakfast sandwich, pastry or fresh, sliced fruit.

Over at Disney's Yacht Club Resort, check out the menu for Captain's Grille, which includes a very nice breakfast buffet. While this is a Table-Service restaurant, you'll find that there are enough lighter choices, as well as my personal favorite, the Lobster Omelet! Yum.

If you'd rather head into Epcot and eat there, check out Sunshine Season's breakfast menu; friends of mine never miss it.

Send another question if you'd like more information or additional suggestions, Adrian. We love to help!
