Do we need on ID to getting in to the park

Hi Ruben! Welcome to planDisney! Thanks so much for stopping by to send us your question!

How exciting that you're thinking about visiting The Happiest Place on Earth! Generally, photo identification is not required for standard Disneyland tickets. There are certain Theme Park Tickets and passes that require photo identification when scanning for entry into the theme parks. If you are using a California resident ticket, you must have government-issued photo identification showing an eligible address for that ticket type. Military tickets also require a valid photo ID for entry. If you are activating an Imagine Key Pass for the first time, a valid government-issued photo ID is necessary to verify eligibility. Additionally, if you are using a Magic Key Pass for the first time, you must also present photo identification that displays the same name attached to that pass.

I hope this information helps with your planning! Before you arrive, be sure to download the Disneyland Mobile App. The app gives you quick and easy access to your Theme Park Ticket or Magic Key Pass, depending on which of these you have. You can also check attraction wait times, entertainment schedules, dining options, and much more using the app.

If you have more planning questions, please send them to us at planDisney. We're all ears, and we would love to help!

    Wishing you magic,
    Lisa
