Do I need a ID to enter Disneyland

    Hey there Arisdelsy,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! It looks like you're planning a trip to the Disneyland Resort in just a few short days - how exciting!

When it comes to visiting the Disneyland Resort, all you need is your standard theme park ticket and a theme park reservation for each day you plan to visit. My preferred place to manage these details is the My Plans hub on the Disneyland Resort website.

When using standard theme park tickets, there is no need for a government-issued ID as the Cast Member at the entry gate will take a quick picture of you the first time you use your ticket to scan into a park, which will then be associated with your ticket for its duration.

Having said that, there are some promotional tickets that do also require a government-issued ID for both ticket purchase and use - like the Southern California Resident Ticket Offer for those living in ZIP codes 90000-96199. Make sure to check the Important Details section if you plan to purchase and use promotional tickets to check for these details.

Thanks again for stopping by with your question, Arisdelsy! I hope you have a wonderful time visiting the Disneyland Resort in the next few days.

    Have a Magical Day,
    Greg
