If we need to hop around to Disney Resort hotels during our planned vacation (do to limited availability), do we need to transfer our own luggage b/t hotels or is there a service that will do that for us so we do not lose any time w/ our theme park rsv?

Welcome to planDisney, Melissa! Thank you for asking this great question! I'm glad to hear you are planning a vacation to The Most Magical Place on Earth and I'm happy to help with your planning!

As a registered guest of a Disney Resorts Collection Hotel, there are so many great benefits you can look forward to! If you're planning a split stay that includes more than one resort, you can drop your luggage off at bell services on the morning of your check-out. You can head off to the theme parks and they will transfer it to the next location provided it is within the Disney Resorts Hotel Collection. Please keep in mind the hotels that are not eligible for luggage transfer are Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, Walt Disney World Swan Reserve, and Good Neighbor Hotels.

I personally love split stays because it allows our family to experience more than one theme and we can choose the resorts based on the locations of our Disney Park Pass Reservations. As you are planning, I recommend taking advantage of the amenities your resort has to offer. Our family loves to have some downtime between theme park days to enjoy the pool.

The World's Most Magical Celebration is happening right now and it's the perfect time to visit Walt Disney World Resort! I hope your vacation is everything you wish for and more! If you have any additional questions, please visit us again at planDisney!

    Happy Planning!
