Hi Moms! Need a very honest opinion on this. Which monorail resort do YOU like the best? I've read the resort descriptions so I'm looking for pros/cons/likes/dislikes. I'm traveling with my daughters, age 13 and 11, and my DH. Thanks & love the panel

Hi Page, great question and hard answer!  The three monorail resorts are all unique in their own ways and offer the same things but in different themes.

I love the main building of the Contemporary as the rooms are large and you are close to transportation and food and everything else you will need.  However, being a convention resort it isn't always a good feeling with kids. The pool is nice and not too crowded but it seems a bit sterile when it comes to having your children at the resort.

The Grand Floridian is considered by many to be the best but because of that it also brings an aura of that with cast and guests.  Sometimes I feel that kids can't let down and be kids because everything is pristine and quiet and elegant.

For families I would choose the Polynesian resort. It has a much more relaxed atmosphere where you can be who you are and just allow your kids to be kids.  The rooms have a bit older feel but request a Magic Kingdom view or sit on the beach and watch Wishes at night and forget about everything else in the world!

That is just one opinion but think about what you are wanting from your vacation experience and hopefully you can make a great choice for your family!
