Need helping deciding between 2 dates of visiting. Either January 23-31st or April 18-25th. Any ideas that could help us make our decision?

    Hi April:

As a popular destination, Disney World tends to be crowded.  But when schools are in session, Disney World tends to be a bit less crowded than when schools are out of session.  Of your two proposals (I'm assuming you are referring to April 2015 and not 2014), I would lean towards the January dates as the Parks will likely be a bit less crowded.  Less crowds tend to mean shorter lines and more desirable restaurant availability.

There aren't many late January school vacations.  While some schools in the NorthEast generally schedule Spring Breaks early to mid-April.  So while you will likely miss most Spring Breaks in late April, my gut tells me that the January timefrane will attract fewer crowds.

If visiting the Water Parks or doing a lot of swimming is very important to you, then you may want to consider the April time as the weather will likely be more geared towards pool time in April.

Either time, you should be a winner.  But late January would be my gut if I had to choose for my family.

    Enjoy your vacation.
