I need help trying to plan a trip for 4

Hi Frank! Welcome to planDisney! It's great to have you stop by!

Oh boy! There is nothing better than planning a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort! Since your anticipated arrival date is less than a week away, you’re going to want to get started on planning as soon as possible. There is so much to consider when planning a Walt Disney World vacation; including travel, resort accommodations, dining reservations, park tickets, park reservations, and a host of others. Let's discuss the options you have to book your stay.

The first option will be to book directly through the Walt Disney World website in the form of a vacation package. This will include your resort accommodations at a Disney Resorts Hotel and theme park tickets. Most standard resort rooms sleep at least four Guests, so you should have plenty of options for the type of room available. I just took a peek at the current availability for your anticipated arrival date, and there are a few choices still open at this time. When you are ready, head over to the website to enter your travel dates and the number of Guests in your party.

Once you decide on your hotel choice, your next step is to decide how many days you wish to visit the parks. The website will then prompt you to purchase any add-ons, such as the Park Hopper Option and Memory Maker. Keep in mind that you will be required to make park reservations for the specific theme park you wish to visit on select dates. You can check the availability calendar before you purchase your tickets. (Please note that there is already limited availability for your arrival date and the days that follow. You are going to need to be flexible with the parks you plan to visit on select dates.)

For many of the table-service restaurants at Walt Disney World, Advanced Dining Reservations are required to be able to dine. These reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance. Since your visit is only a week away, many of the hard-to-get reservations will most likely be gone. With that said, Guests can cancel their reservations for up to 24 hours without penalty. There is a good chance that if you continue to check, a reservation may appear leading up to your stay for the restaurant of your choosing.

Frank, I would highly suggest reaching out to an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner for help planning and booking your visit. These individuals can book your entire stay, including airfare, airport transportation, resort reservations, and ticket packages. The best way to find one is to perform a Google search for Authorized Planners. Check to see which one will work best for you and contact them for help. Since your trip is fast approaching, you're going to want someone with high expertise to ensure that you not only plan the best possible trip but have all of your reservations lined up. Park entry is not allowed unless you have both a park ticket and park reservation. The best part about using a Vacation Planner is there is no extra cost to you. You will pay the same amount for your vacation as if you booked it yourself!

Frank, I hope this information helps you plan for your upcoming visit! Stop back any time to planDisney with additional questions!

    Happy planning!
