Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sommer!
We took our baby to Walt Disney World Resort for his first trip when he was 7 months old. He really enjoyed all of the parks and Magic Kingdom and Disney's Animal Kingdom are definitely my favorite parks for that age. If you are only going to visit one park, I would recommend Magic Kingdom. It has so many classic Disney rides that your family can enjoy together, such as
"it's a small world",
Pirates of the Caribbean and
Mad Tea Party. In fact, your little one can enjoy any of the attractions with no minimum height requirements. Take a look at this
Disney Parks Blog post that lists all of the attraction height requirements at each of the parks to get an idea of all of the activities available for your entire family. Also be sure to watch the
Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade, which my little guy loved. The other thing I love about visiting Magic Kingdom with little Mouseketeers this age is the photographs that your family will cherish for years. A picture with your little one in front of Cinderella Castle with Mickey Ears is a classic!
Our family loves
Baby Care Centers and dads are definitely welcome to use them as well! I have found that the nursing area in each of the Baby Care Centers is a separate room to afford mommies have some privacy.
T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
