Sandra! Oh my goodness, friend! Let's get this sorted out and bring you some serenity now.
First, to visit a
Walt Disney World theme park, you do need a
theme park reservation. It's easy peasy to do online or on your
My Disney Experience app. On the app, click the plus sign on the bottom, and you'll see the option to make a park reservation. Click the calendar date you want, the park you want, and then which people in your party are going. Done - we're getting there!
For table service
dining experiences, I recommend a
reservation.
Disney Resorts Collection hotel guests can make reservations 60 days in advance for their length of stay. Otherwise, you can make the reservations 60 days before you want to dine. Remember that plus sign? Go into the My Disney Experience app, click it, and the first thing that comes up is Check Dining Availability. Pick your date and number of people, pick your meal time, and it will show you which restaurants have availability. Also, Sandra, there are a lot of amazing counter service restaurants - even if you don't book a reservation, you won't end up with burgers at every meal.
As for ride reservations, that's a day of activity. You can use the brand new
Disney Genie service to help plan your priorities for the day, and then if you've added Genie+ to your passes, you can begin making
Lightning Lane attraction choices the morning you plan to arrive.
We've got this, Sandra! Whatever you need help with, we're here for you. Don't stress - focus on having a magical, memory-making trip with your family!
